In consideration of accepting this registration, I, the registrant, intending to be legally bound for myself and on behalf of any and all individuals I am registering or purchasing tickets for (collectively referred to as “participants”), do hereby waive and forever release any and all rights and claims for damages or injuries that I or any such participants may have against the Event Director, South Gulf Cove Yacht Club, and all of their agents assisting with the event, sponsors and their representatives, volunteers, and employees for any and all injuries to us or our personal property. This release includes all injuries and/or damages that occur before, during, or after the event. I recognize, intend, and understand that this release is binding upon myself and all participants I have registered, as well as our respective heirs, executors, administrators, or assignees.
I acknowledge that this event may involve potentially hazardous activities. I affirm that I and all participants I am registering are medically able and properly trained to participate, and that we voluntarily assume all risks associated with our participation.
In the event of an illness, injury, or medical emergency involving myself or any participant I have registered, I authorize and consent to the Event Director securing from any accredited hospital, clinic, and/or physician any treatment deemed necessary for immediate care. I understand and agree that I will be fully responsible for payment of any and all medical services and treatment rendered, including but not limited to medical transport, medications, treatment, and hospitalization.
Further, I grant permission to the South Gulf Cove Yacht Club and its representatives to use the names, voices, and images of myself and all participants I have registered in any photographs, motion pictures, results, publications, or any other print, video, graphic, or electronic recordings of this event for legitimate promotional or reporting purposes.
This event follows the standard industry policy: All fees are non-refundable except under the conditions indicated in the South Gulf Cove Yacht Club refund policy. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control, such as a natural disaster, adverse weather, or other emergency, or as required to protect the safety of participants and staff. We reserve the right to change the details of the event without prior notice.
For events where the South Gulf Cove Yacht Club serves alcohol, all members and nonmembers attending must be 21 and over.
By submitting this registration, I acknowledge having read and agreed to the above release and waiver, including our refund policy.
